The Land Bank announced two new acquisitions today: the waterfront property at 70 Washington St. for $4.8 million, and a 2.25-acre parcel of land at 68 Nobadeer Ave. for $2.8 million.
The purchase on Washington Street marks the second on the street in the last 10 days, after the Land Bank announced it had acquired 71 Washington St. March 5.
The Washington Street corridor, known to flood significantly during storms, is a focus of the Land Bank in terms of both waterfront access, and opportunities for costal resilience initiatives. Read more.
